Tangerine and persimmon are treated specially in Asia. They are one of the oldest local cultivated plants associated with winter and eastern New Year holidays. In order to pay tribute to the traditions of the East, Zodiac's chef Ruslan Magomedsharipov supplemented the February menu with bright seasonal novelties with tangerine and persimmon.
New cold appetizer - kimchi tangerines, an unexpected alternative to the classic Asian dish - beaten cucumbers. It will be difficult to miss unadzu: a new hot snack, in which flavored rice is complemented by slices of roasted eel and a mixture of pickled ginger, juicy tangerines, and spicy root salad.
The dessert menu has also received an update - a light roll "ammonium" with tangerine - a traditional oriental sweet, famous for its unusual marmalade texture.
And of course, the seasonal dessert will appear in the menu - vagasi “mochi” with persimmon — like a sweet kiss from the winter East.
